Supporters of conspiracy theories must have enjoyed the recent buzz about the Swiss franc reaching the level of PLN 4.0. As much as such news are spreading far and wide, they remain gossips.
Mix of conjectures and facts
The whole thing started with an article in one of the free newspapers. The market observers, quoted by the journalists, suggested that due to the November voting in Switzerland the franc might cost as much as PLN 4.0 if circumstances are extremely adverse. Such news generate a lot of buzz due to 700k Poles who repay loans in the Swiss franc. Hence the scenario has been presented by the mainstream media.
